PEXA was established in 2010 as an Australian government initiative aimed at providing a world-first national, streamlined digital solution to complete property transactions in Australia. Today, PEXA is now used by 86% of Australia’s conveyancers and 100% of Financial Institutions who have securely completed over 16 million property transactions, totalling more than $3TN in property transactions, and counting.
We’ve now brought our innovative technology and expertise to the UK. By collaborating with lenders, lawyers, conveyancers, and government, we’ve introduced the UK’s first property settlement scheme with the Bank of England, PEXA Pay. It is the only payment scheme in the UK dedicated to the property asset class, allowing both lenders and law firms to work together on property transactions, taking advantage of modern technology to streamline the process through a digital workspace.
The UK’s first digital remortgaging solution also launched in September 2022By reimagining completions and automating the admin, PEXA brings a seamless and secure connection between parties. And by combining Optima Legal’s remortgage conveyancing expertise with PEXA’s solution, we’re fast-tracking frictionless remortgages and even speedier property settlements with a 24-hour remortgage on the horizon.
Our journey doesn’t end there. In collaboration with the UK housing industry, and with Smoove joining the PEXA family, we’re on a quest to streamline the UK’s buying and selling process.
