Suchitra is a Partner in Deloitte’s EMEA Centre for Regulatory Strategy and helps firms to navigate the regulatory landscape around technological innovation. She sits on Deloitte’s UK Fintech Executive and the UK Payments leadership team and leads Deloitte’s thought leadership on regulatory strategy on topics such as digitisation, cryptoassets, AI, payments innovation, operational resilience and the future of regulation.
She has extensive experience of working with regulators, including completing a secondment into the supervision team of a UK regulator. She has advised regulators on building capability to respond to innovation including designing a fintech sandbox for an international regulator and identifying areas for deploying innovation in supervision and policy development for a selection of UK regulators.
Suchitra is a member of various industry working groups on innovation in financial services and chairs the CityUK’s AI Working Group. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has previously worked in Deloitte’s Audit, Corporate Finance and Risk Advisory teams.
