Simon Chuter is a seasoned angel investment professional. He is the Head of SME Engagement at angelgroups, one of the UK’s largest angel investment networks of its kind. His work sees him onboarding businesses and getting them investor ready before going in front of their angels. Prior to joining angelgroups he ran University of Sussex Business Angels.
He is well versed in the world of startups and scaleups having spent a decade consulting with innovative businesses at Sussex Innovation, a business incubator.
He spent the first decade of his career in charity fundraising, including running his own successful fundraising agency.
In 2023 he completed his MBA and he’s been a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce for 4 years.
