Prashant leads the Financial Services Sector for IBM Consulting in UK and Ireland. In this role, he
has the P/L responsibility of IBM’s consulting financial services business across business
transformation, technology strategy, implementation and delivery. He is a member of the IBM
Consulting’s Global Leadership Team and IBM’s Global Executive Committee.
Prashant has built 25+ year distinctive record as a global business leader in financial services.
Prior to IBM, he worked with Citi for number of years as the head of technology for EMEA
Treasury and with Polaris Software Labs as the SVP and head of their UK business. He also
founded a technology company that build electronic trading platform for the Indian stock
market.
Prashant has in-depth experience of shaping and leading AI, Cloud and Digital Transformation
Programs with large banks that have driven an outside-in progressive modernisation to
significantly improve customer experience.
Prashant graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from IIT Roorkee and master’s
in finance & marketing from XIM Bhubaneswar. He also has a diploma in strategy from Said
Business School, Oxford. He lives in London with his wife and two kids
