Pablo is the Financial Services Payments lead in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Amazon Web Service (AWS). He is responsible for working with AWS customers to understand and support the needs of payments providers as they to leverage the benefits of the cloud to support innovation, operational resilience and security within the industry. In his capacity, Pablo engages and works with the leadership team of both financial and non-financial organisations, to help shape their priorities, understand issues around cloud adoption and solve specific industry challenges. Prior to AWS, Pablo spent 18 years working in the industry at Accenture UK and freelancing. In these roles he has worked with financial services and non-financial services customers across Europe, Africa, USA and Asia, supporting their businesses, mainly in cards and payments, through data driven strategic decisions, driving regulatory programmes and engagement with regulators. He holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from ICAI, having also studied at the University of Texas at Austin.
