Nikesh joined the research team in 2005 and is currently the UK economist for the commercial bank, spearheading the UK research offering at Lloyds. Since joining, Nikesh has contributed to the Research team’s UK high frequency forecasts, which led to Bloomberg in 2011 and 2012, recognising his team as the best forecasters for the UK economy. Prior to joining the research team, Nikesh began his career in the retail arm of the bank, where he joined from university. He has a degree in Financial economics and an MSc. in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham.
