John Hutton is the former Director of Payments and Head of Payments Services and Operations at Nationwide Building Society where he led on the Payments strategy, Technology roadmap, Operations and Regulatory engagement. Prior to that John worked for Barclays Bank Plc where he held such roles as Director of UK Payment Operations, Director of Payments & Sanctions for Absa Bank ( South Africa) and Director of Payments Investigations, Reconciliations and Servicing for Barclays Corporate Bank. John has held several non-executive positions in the
Payments industry and is the former Chairman of Payments20, Board Director of the Faster Payments Company, Director of Payments UK, Board member of UK Finance’s Payments and Products Board and Member of Open Banking UK.
At LexisNexis Risk Solutions John is responsible for developing the global Payments strategy, leading the Payments portfolio and supporting our global Clients with solutions to improve their Payments Efficiency.
