As Global Head of Payments Strategy at Swift, Heather leads on Swift’s work with the community to improve cross-border payments, enhance the end-customer experience and realise the shared vision for instant, frictionless and interoperable transactions globally. Heather joined Swift in 2018, working across digital currencies, market infrastructures and financial crime compliance, before being appointed to her current role in 2024. Previously Heather held product, innovation and strategy roles in financial services, with expertise in risk, compliance and trade finance, working closely with the community to find new ways to solve industry challenges.
