Greg Toussaint is a Director at Edgar, Dunn & Company (EDC) based in the Paris office. He has more than 15 years of consulting payments experience with EDC in business strategy for financial services clients in Asia, Europe, Middle East and the Americas markets.
Greg has worked in EDC London’s, Sydney’s and Paris’ offices and developed global perspectives on payments. He has gained extensive knowledge in both retail and B2B payments, including card products, instant payments and alternative forms of payments while working for a diversity of actors in the payments space (e.g. central banks, issuing and acquiring banks, payment schemes, merchants and payment providers).
In particular, Greg has developed significant expertise in the travel payment space, working extensively with both demand-side clients (e.g. airlines such as AirFrance, hotels such as AccorHotels, rail operators such as SNCF) and supply-side clients (e.g. schemes such as UATP, issuers such as BNP Paribas or niche actors such as AirPlus or WEX). For instance, Greg led an extensive RFI and RFP process for IATA to select providers for IATA EasyPay (a pay-as-you-go wallet for travel agents) in more than 100 countries.
Greg has also acquired in-depth expertise to optimise payments for pure digital players and omnichannel merchants to protect revenues, generate additional revenues and optimise payments. Greg works for both demand with merchants in the luxury, fashion or supermarket sectors and supply with actors such as PSP, acquirers and payment providers.
Greg is a regular conference speaker and chairman at events focused on payments business and cards such as the MRC, Trustech or Commercial Payments International.
Greg holds a Masters in Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences from both Grenoble Institute of Technology in France and Barcelona Tech (UPC) in Spain.
