In this role, he responsible for managing the entire innovation process: from the identification of new strategies, business opportunities and technologies, developing new capabilities and architectures alongside partners, right through to creating new industry structures to serve those opportunities.
Prior to joining SWIFT in 2020, Zschach served as the Chief Information Officer for Market Infrastructure at CLS Group in New York, and prior to this, was responsible for all technology and operations at LCH Clearnet in London. Zschach has also worked in several banks, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Head of Rates and Currencies Technology, and Barclays Capital as a Managing Director responsible for Equites, Prime Brokerage and Client Technology.
Zschach studied computer science and finance at California State University at Sacramento and received an MBA from Trium, an alliance of New York University Stern School of Business, The London School of Economics and HEC Paris. He currently resides in New York.
