Hannah leads on all areas of financial policy for the British Retail Consortium, representing retailer views primarily on payments issues and developments, working to drive forwards innovation in retail payments. She represents retailers on several working groups and committees including JROC’s Open Banking working groups, Pay.UK’s industry advisory council, and SCOR. In early 2023, Hannah hosted the retail industry’s first ever Open Banking event, bringing together retailers with regulators and industry to work through and voice any concerns. Prior to working at the BRC, Hannah worked in Policy at the FCA, consulting on and drafting new policies looking at section 75 and consumer protections as well as the FCA’s work on vulnerable consumers.
